We are excited to announce that four of staff at CAMTech Uganda attended the BRAINx two-day bootcamp for scientists, held on September 27th and 28th at the Innovation Village in Kampala. Hosted by the Science, Technology, and Innovation Secretariat at the Office of the President (STI-OP), the bootcamp aimed to inspire scientists to translate their research into impactful business ventures.

The event brought together leading innovators and researchers in Uganda who passionate about turning their research and innovations into sustainable businesses. Notably, three of CAMTech Uganda’s MedTech innovators participated in panel discussions where they extensively shared their personal experiences of turning scientific research into successful businesses. 

This initiative aligns with CAMTech Uganda’s mission to foster innovation, and we believe the knowledge and experience gained will further drive impactful work within our community. Stay tuned for more updates on how our team is translating these learnings into action!
